Wayne Reaves

About Wayne Reaves

After beginning his buy-here pay-here dealership in 1973, Wayne Reaves was one of the most successful automobile dealers in the Southeast for over 25 years. He served on the Georgia State Used Car Board for over 18 years.

In October 1988, after being named Small Business Owner of the year, he started a class designed to train used car dealers the most profitable way to run a buy-here pay-here operation. Since then, Wayne’s incredible success with this program has enabled him to expand his classes throughout the Southeast, helping dealers make more money the Wayne Reaves way!

Wayne started selling his dealer management software for used car dealers in 1987. Wayne’s car program has evolved from a program that could run from one floppy disc to a modern .NET, internet-based program that can do almost anything any type of car dealer would need.  Wayne stays active in dealer continuing education classes and he uses the feedback he gets to continue to improve the dealer management program so it will meet the needs of dealers for many years to come.

Eventually the success of the software business led to Wayne closing his dealership. However, he has been active in training new and current dealers as well as running Wayne Reaves Software and ever since. He has been running his software business with his wife, Virginia and two sons: Jason (Jay), and Kevin, along with a growing staff of well over 20 employees.
