Backups:

If you are using the Legacy Desktop Car Program, you must have an external backup device. We do not backup your data.

  • We recommend you have at least two devices and rotate them for each backup.

  • Replace the devices annually.

  • Make sure the device leaves the business at the end of the day.

  • In addition to an external device, you should also use a cloud-based secured storage solution.

While the DATA for all the other products is backed up on our secured cloud servers, we do not back up your local programs, documents, or other information. You should plan and implement a Disaster Recovery Plan with the support of a local computer technician.

Internet Security Apps must have an Active Subscription that is licensed for commercial/business uses and be configurable. Your IT Technician must configure the app to work with our program.

Please have your computer or networking technician call us while on-site if there are any questions about our program.

Computer recommendations:

We do not normally recommend specific brands of computers. We do offer these tips:

  • When buying computers for your business, always avoid the low-end bargain computers. They are designed for light home use and are typically very underpowered for business use.

  • If you are looking at a specific model, you can call us with the specifications, and we will be glad to advise if the computer fits the requirements.

NOTE: No computer more than three years old should be used in a business environment unless you have a dedicated technical staff to support the systems.

If you experience program, website, or printer problems due to any of the following:

  • Incompatibility of unsupported configurations,

  • Problems due to the printer incompatibility with your operating system,

  • Issues related to viruses, malware, corrupted browser programs or operating system files,

  • Operating System Activation problems,

We may not be able to assist you beyond recommending that you upgrade to a new computer and/or printer.
